About Kevlar V Belts:
Kevlar/Aramid corded v belts have a higher tensile strength rating over standard v belts.
This will help minimize stretch when these belts endure higher shock loads over longer periods of time.  
Kevlar belts have a special dry cover/wrap for clutching applications 
and these can also withstand reverse bending and twisting. 
Most common use for Kevlar v belts are for mowers.

Transco V-belt features:

A:Transco uses the abrasion-resistant and flexible cover fabric offers a strong grip on sheaves to reduce slippage during operation.
Top cover constructed from multiple strands of yarn, the CR rubber treatment enhances adhesion, protects against the elements, and prevents static build-up in challenging usage.

B:The top CR rubber binds the Kevlar cord, fabric cover, and compression rubber to prevent separation of the V belt components during operation.

C:Transco provides  High Standard with DuPont Kevlar and these cords are twisted in different configurations to match load applications and are pre-stretched before belt assembly to stabilize length and minimize stretching during operation

D:Transco uses excellent-quality production formulas to provide Kevlar V belts that are resistant to flex cracking and compression fatigue.
