The Automotive Cogged V belt is designed for use in applications where pulley diameters are relatively small and belt speed requirements are high. The fiber loaded cogged construction provides optimum flexibility and minimizes heat build-up.
Product Description:
A. Top Fabric: Our belts feature an abrasion-resistant and flexible cover for a firm grip, minimizing slippage during use. The cover is woven from multiple plies of yarn, rubber-treated for maximum adhesion, and protection against adverse conditions.
B. Adhesion Rubber: The adhesion rubber binds the tensile cord and fabric cover to the compression rubber, preventing component separation during belt use.
C. Polyester Cord/Aramid Cord: The tensile cord serves as the power transmission element within the belt, wound in an uninterrupted spiral for increased strength. The cords are twisted in various configurations to match the load, pre-stretched for length stabilization and minimal stretch during use.
D. Bottom Rubber: Our compression rubber provides support for the load-carrying tensile cords while dissipating heat. It is resistant to flex cracking and compression fatigue.
E. Bottom Fabric: The tooth surface is covered with high fabric to enhance the belt's service life and wear resistance.
